1. Introduction
Glazd ("the App", "we", "us") is an anonymous interest-matching social application for Android. We match users based on shared TikTok content interests, without requiring real names, photos, or personal social profiles.
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Polish data protection law (RODO).
By using Glazd, you agree to the practices described in this policy. Your use of the App is also governed by our Terms of Service. If you disagree with this policy or our Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Data We Collect

2.2 TikTok Data Export (Core Feature)
To use Glazd, you upload a TikTok data export file (a .json file you download from TikTok's own settings). This file is processed by our servers to compute your interest profile.
Critical privacy fact: The raw TikTok data export file is automatically and permanently deleted from our servers within seconds of being processed. We never store it, and no human ever reads it. Only the computed interest scores (anonymized numbers) are retained.
What we extract from the export:
- Watch and like history → to identify content categories you enjoy
- Search terms → to understand active interests
- Hashtags engaged with → to refine category scoring
- Profile bio → high-confidence self-description
What we do not extract or store:
- Your TikTok follower list
- Your TikTok DMs or comments
- Any identifiable TikTok video IDs after processing

- Chat messages: Stored in encrypted form. Visible only to you and your chat partner.
- Reports: Content stored for moderation review.
- App activity & Diagnostics: Clicks, screen views, and crash reports (Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics).

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not sell your data to any third party.
4. What Other Users Can See
Other users CAN see:
- Your display name (chosen by you)
- Your automatically generated interest avatar (icon + color)
- Your top interest categories and match percentages
- Your online/offline status and approximate last-seen time
- Your optional bio, age range, and city (if provided)
- Messages you send them after a chat is started
Other users CANNOT see:
- Your phone number
- Your TikTok username
- Your raw TikTok data export or any raw interest data
- Exact session start or end times
- Your Firebase UID directly
These restrictions are enforced at the server level through Firestore security rules and Cloud Function validation.

All Firebase data is stored in europe-central2 (Warsaw, EU) and does not leave the European Union. We do not share your personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.

7. Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account). Upon deletion, we immediately remove your profile, interest vector, all match scores, all chats, all chat requests, and your Firebase Auth record. This deletion is irreversible and automatic.
8. Your Rights Under GDPR / RODO
- Right of access — Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — Update your profile data directly in the app.
- Right to erasure — Delete your account in-app at any time.
- Right to data portability — Request an export of your personal data in JSON format.
- Right to restrict processing — Request that we limit how we use your data.
- Right to object — Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Right to lodge a complaint — File a complaint with the Polish Data Protection Authority (UODO): uodo.gov.pl

9. Children's Policy
Glazd is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us at senseimitya@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
10. Security
- In transit: All data is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS).
- At rest: All Firestore and Cloud Storage data is encrypted using AES-256.
- Access control: Sensitive fields are protected by Firestore security rules.
- Rate limiting: Server-side rate limits (20 chat requests/hour, 60 messages/hour).
- Moderation: Accounts receiving 5 reports are automatically reviewed.
11. Push Notifications
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver notifications about chat requests and messages. Notifications are sent only for in-app events (not promotional). You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notification. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Glazd application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and acknowledge our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Glazd is an anonymous interest-matching social application that connects users based on shared TikTok content interests.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Glazd. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You must have a valid phone number capable of receiving SMS messages.
You must have a TikTok account and be able to export your TikTok data file.
3. Account Registration
3.1 Phone Verification
You register using your phone number, verified via a one-time SMS code (OTP). Each phone number can only be associated with one Glazd account.
3.2 Display Name
You choose an anonymous display name (max 30 characters). This name is visible to other users. It does not need to be your real name.
3.3 TikTok Username
You provide your TikTok username for identity verification (bot prevention). This is never shown to other users.
3.4 TikTok Data Export
You upload a TikTok data export file. This file is processed automatically to compute your interest profile, then permanently deleted from our servers. You consent to this processing as a condition of using the app.
3.5 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Keep your phone number secure. Glazd cannot recover accounts if you lose access to your registered phone number.
4. Acceptable Use
By using Glazd, you agree not to:
- Use the app if you are under 18 years of age
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Share another person's personal information without their consent
- Send harassing, threatening, or abusive messages
- Use the app to spam or send unsolicited commercial messages
- Attempt to circumvent any technical restrictions, rate limits, or security measures
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the app
- Upload TikTok data that does not belong to you
- Attempt to identify other users through linking external information
- Use the app for any illegal purpose
- Distribute content that violates our Child Safety Standards
Violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban.
5. Chat System and Content
5.1 Chat Slots
Free accounts receive 3 simultaneous active chat slots. Premium accounts receive unlimited chats for $4.99/month (where available). Deleting a chat frees a slot for both participants.
Subscriptions and Refunds: Premium subscriptions are processed via Google Play Billing. Subject to Google Play's refund policies, by purchasing a subscription, you consent to immediate access to the digital content and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Consumer Law.
5.2 Message Content
You are solely responsible for the content of messages you send. By sending a message, you represent that it does not violate these Terms or any applicable law.
5.3 TikTok Links
Sharing TikTok links within chats may reveal aspects of your TikTok identity. The App will warn you before you share non-TikTok links, as these may reveal your real identity.
5.4 Anonymity
Glazd is anonymous by design. You are responsible for protecting your own anonymity. Sharing links, usernames, or other information may reduce your anonymity — this is your choice to make.
6. Reporting and Blocking
6.1 Reporting
You can report users who violate these Terms. Reports are reviewed by us for moderation purposes.
6.2 Automatic Action
Accounts receiving 5 or more valid reports may be automatically suspended pending review.
6.3 Blocking
You can block any user. Blocked users cannot send you messages.
7. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Deletion permanently and immediately removes all your data, including your profile, interest vector, match scores, and all chat history. This action is irreversible.
8. Intellectual Property
The Glazd name, logo, design, and original content are the intellectual property of the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without explicit written permission.
Your messages and profile content remain your property. By using the App, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, limited license to host, store, and transmit your content solely as necessary to operate the App.
9. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES, THAT MATCHES WILL RESULT IN SUCCESSFUL CONNECTIONS, THE ACCURACY OF INTEREST MATCHING SCORES, OR THAT OTHER USERS WILL BEHAVE APPROPRIATELY. USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DMITRII GREED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOSS OF DATA, ANY INTERACTIONS OR RELATIONSHIPS FORMED THROUGH THE APP, OR ANY CONTENT SHARED BY OTHER USERS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP OR PREMIUM FEATURES IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.
11. TikTok Relationship
Glazd is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance Ltd. in any way. You are responsible for complying with TikTok's own Terms of Service when exporting and sharing your data.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland and the European Union. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Poland.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app.

How to Delete Your Account and Data
Google Play requires all apps with accounts to provide a clear data deletion path. Here is how to delete your Glazd account and all associated data.
Option 1: Delete from Within the App (Recommended)
This is the fastest and most complete method.
- Open Glazd
- Tap Profile tab (bottom navigation)
- Tap Settings (gear icon)
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog
What happens immediately:
- ✅ Your Firebase authentication record is deleted
- ✅ Your user profile is permanently deleted
- ✅ Your interest vector and computed category scores are deleted
- ✅ All match scores involving your account are deleted
- ✅ All chats you participated in are deleted (including all messages)
- ✅ All pending and past chat requests are deleted
- ✅ Your push notification token is removed
This is irreversible. There is no grace period — deletion is immediate and permanent.
Option 2: Submit a Deletion Request by Email
If you cannot access the app (e.g. lost your phone), you can submit a deletion request:

Note on Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics

Child Safety Standards — Glazd

Glazd is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all users. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy regarding the sexual abuse, exploitation, or endangerment of children.
1. Prohibited Content and Behavior
We strictly prohibit any of the following:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): The creation, possession, or distribution of any visual representation of child sexual abuse.
- Grooming: Any behavior intended to establish an emotional connection with a minor to lower their inhibitions in preparation for sexual abuse or exploitation.
- Sexual Solicitation of Minors: Requesting sexual favors, content, or interaction from anyone under the age of 18.
- Financial Extortion (Sextortion): Using threats to release sensitive or sexual content to extort money or favors.
2. Enforcement and Reporting
- Immediate Ban: Any account involved in child safety violations is permanently banned without warning.
- NCMEC Reporting: As required by law, we report all instances of CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement.
- User Reporting: If you encounter a user violating these standards, use the [REPORT] button in the chat immediately or email us at senseimitya@gmail.com.
3. Age Requirement
Glazd is for users aged 18 and older. We use interest-matching patterns to identify and remove potential underage users.
